Josie Trent joined DuWest in 2024 as an associate on the Investment Sales team and an analyst for DW Acquisitions. She has a primary focus on completing the underwriting and due diligence processes to support our client’s goals in the acquisition and disposition of retail assets. Prior to joining DuWest, Josie interned with Texas Capital Bank on their Commercial Real Estate Lending team and with Riverside Resources in Austin as a development analyst. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Finance from the McCombs School of Business. Outside of the office, Josie enjoys going on walks with her dogs, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

orey Duhon is Founding Partner of DUWEST. Duhon began his real estate career at Shafer Property Company, where he advanced from intern to President of Leasing and ultimately became an operating partner in multiple shopping centers. During his time there, he worked across the full lifecycle of retail real estate, including property management, leasing, and development, contributing to more than 30 ground up projects. After more than a decade at Shafer, Duhon founded Duwest Realty, now DUWEST. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 1,600 transactions and continues to focus on project leasing and strategies that enhance and protect asset value. He also developed DUWEST’s “Lead to Lease” program, which is actively used across the firm’s portfolio. Duhon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is a member of ICSC and serves on the Board of the Folsom Real Estate Institute at Southern Methodist University.

Jorge has over 15 years’ experience in the Central Texas Real Estate market. He specializes in urban project leasing, tenant representation and development. Prior to joining Duwest, he was a development partner on the St. Vincent, a 20,000 sf mixed-use project on South Congress, that delivered the first new construction high street retail space to the district. Prior to working on the St. Vincent, Jorge was with Ironwood Real Estate for over nine years, where he managed the firm’s leasing efforts and assisted in development and acquisitions. While at Ironwood, Jorge completed leasing and sales transactions throughout Central Texas in both urban and suburban markets. Jorge also specializes in tenant representation and has represented Torchy’s Tacos throughout Central Texas for over ten years. He has worked deals with most major Landlords throughout Austin and San Antonio. Mr. Rangel is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is also member of the International Council of Shopping Center and a past board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area.
