We are a vertically integrated multifamily owner‑operator focused on value‑add, workforce housing across high-growth markets in North Carolina and South Carolina. Since 2013, Ginkgo has completed more than 75 transactions, containing more than 15,000 apartments at a total consideration of more than $1,500,000,000. Ginkgo has financial relationships with over 15 lenders and has joint ventured with JP Morgan Asset Management, Starwood, LEM Capital, Banyan Street Real Estate Funds, Pensam, Silver Peak, and other investors. Our private, non‑traded, perpetual‑life Ginkgo REIT pays monthly distributions and has delivered an 11% average annualized total return since its July 2019 inception. Over 35% of total equity is held by employees, their families, and board members.

Value‑add acquisition and renovation of workforce multifamily communities in high‑growth Carolinas markets, held within a perpetual‑life private REIT and selective joint ventures, with vertically integrated property, asset, and construction management and an embedded sustainability program. Outside of our non-traded REIT, we offer a broad range of investment opportunities, including Ginkgo Notes (1–24 month maturities), direct investments, GP Fund II, and a DSTs.
